The Yankees are cooked

This week we got some news surrounding the Yankees as Opening Day approaches. Both Gerrit Cole (Last Years Cy Young) and Aaron Judge (2022 MVP), are gonna be missing a little bit of time during spring training. On the outside, it looks like they might just be a little bit banged up and need a few extra days off, however, history shows that isn't the case.
For example, last week the Yankees announced that Oswald Peraza, the Yankees backup shortstop, felt a "little bit of tightness" according to Aaron Boone, who claimed that it was nothing big. Just two days later the Yankees would announce that Peraza would likely be out for about 6-8 weeks.
The Yankees have a very long history of downplaying major injuries, and it looks like this is beginning of that process with Judge and Cole.
If either Judge or Cole were to miss major time in 2024, it would be a catostrophe, as Judge and Cole are the Yankees best hitter and pitcher respectively.
