At 6:30pm tonight the 17-7 (8-5) Northwestern Wildcats take on the 13-10 (5-7) Rutgers Scarlet Knights at Jersey Mike's Arena (RAC) in Piscataway NJ. The Wildcats, currently sitting at 4th in the Big Ten standings are coming off back-to-back wins at home against both Nebraska and Penn State, however, the WIldcats have been 0-4 on the road in their last 4 games outside of Welsh-Ryan Arena.

The Scarlet Knights started the season, 2-7 in Big Ten play this season, struggling to find any rhythm on offense, ranked #300 in the country offensively (via KenPom) at a point in the season, while their defense was ranked 2nd across those same metrics. However since Guard Jeremiah Williams was reinstated to the team, Rutgers has gone 3-0 in the conference including a win over AP #11 Wisconsin.

Tonight the Knights look to take on a well balanced Northwestern team led by senior point guard Boo Buie, in order to get back into NCAA Tournament discussions that seemed long dead just 2 weeks ago.
